The painting is done and the rest of the trim is installed. Now we just need some finishing touches - outlet covers, window treatments, new stools, and some cookware. I’m still using stuff I got for wedding presents over 20 years ago. It’s okay, but hey - everything has its season, and the season for these is past.

And here’s a close-up of the granite countertop. I’m told by a friend who teaches geology that the red spots are garnet. Cool - semi-precious stones in my countertop! :-)
