When I don't have time for my butter to get soft I use Utterly Butterly but it does not taste the same like real butter. I will get one of those when I find it in the shop here in UK. Those are interesting... supposedly the water keeps a seal around the butter and allows you to keep the butter at room temp without spoilage.
