Michelle Kwan should have stayed home

Her selfishness in asking to be included on the Olympic figure skating team despite not being able to compete for much of last year due to an injury is inexcusable. She’s had two shots at the Olympics and has two medals - she should have been satisfied with that and let Emily Hughes, who earned a spot on the team, march in the opening ceremonies.
She could have left a more positive legacy by gracefully recognizing that she was past her prime and it was time to let the next generation take over. Michelle, sorry, but it’s past time for you to go.

Hello,
I am writing you regarding post on November 29,2005 about your former neighbors coming for a visit. My name is Wayne Marshall and I am an old friend of Chip (Jason) and Diane from Richmond, VA. I actually worked with Diane when she first met Chip and I met my wife and have lost contact with them over the years.
Occasionally, I will do a Google search for those I have lost touch with and for the first time in many years I got a hit that led me to your site. I was very excited to see it was them and even more overjoyed to see that they are doing well and have a beautiful new addition to their family.
I would not be so forward as to ask for their contact information but wondered if you might pass mine along to them.
My email is obiwayne@cavtel.net and I can provide any additional information if you’d like.
Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you!

Amazing. Shall we come back here so you can tell us when Tom Brady should retire? Derek Jeter? Your expertise on all things is being wasted on a nearly anonymous blog.
Please…

Hey, Ray, thanks for your comments
You can come back if you want, but I’m not sure I understand why you troll the internet being rude for no apparent reason. As it turns out, I was right about Michelle Kwan - the only thing she accomplished at the Olympics was to deprive Emily Hughes of all of her first Olympic experience.
In the meantime, this blog is my salute to our Constitutional right to free speech guaranteed by the First Amendment. If you’re not impressed by it, guess what? I don’t really care
Have a nice day.
